Leveraging the connection between the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s Commercial Data Interchange and the Hong Kong Airport Authority’s HKIA Cargo Data Platform, with KOG’s consent, a bank could gain access to its air cargo data to better grasp the operating conditions and business prospects of the company, successfully streamlining the previously complex loan application process. Coupled with other trade-related data in CDI, the collaboration has helped improve KOG’s access to financing and supported the company’s rapid development.
